Kinga Szilágyi is a classical saxophonist based in Linz, Austria. She learned to play the instrument as an adult and studied in the Netherlands, Austria and Hungary with Andreas van Zoelen (Raschér Saxophone Quartet), Peter Rohrsdorfer and Levente Puskás.
Kinga has a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and has worked with composers and artists from other fields of art, including dancers, actors, poets, visual artists and circus artists. Kinga has performed around Europe, from the Academy of Music in Budapest to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, with several different ensembles and orchestras.
She is currently teaching in her home studio in Linz and working on new, mainly interdisciplinary projects.
