About The Event

In this new show, Ida shares the “stage” with four saxophone players

who accompany her on her fun and breathtaking adventures on the chinese pole. The saxophone

quartet -the Saxopolists-, although using far less acrobatics than Ida, play an important role in the act

contributing to it with the tools they have: fun and rarely heard music -some never-published gems

from the roaring ‘20s- and virtuosity.

In the show you see five musicians, one of them with a very challenging instrument; the triangle.

What makes the triangle so hard to play? Nothing really... unless it’s five meters up in the air.

The music starts. Will Ida reach the top in time to play the final note of the piece?

This performance combines contemporary circus arts, live music and theatre and is suitable for

children and adults of all ages.
